[Accidental video]

[The video switches on to reveal Ashura in his bed, tangled in the bedsheets and breathing heavily and panicky]

Ah...! What in--- W-was there a battle? What happened?!

MEGUMI! Nanoha... Vivio! Please...!

[And as he struggles to free himself of the uncooperative sheets but only succeeds in falling out of bed, you may notice that those once-white bedsheets, not to mention Ashura himself, are pretty soaked in blood]

[ooc: I'm sorry I've been so bad at replying to entries and tags these last weeks. This is me trying not to suck as much.

[Accidental video]

[Ashura is sitting on the veranda in the backyard of Megumi's house. He's hugging his knees while staring out across the rose garden, his hair loose and blowing in the light breeze. When he speaks, it's in a low voice, as if he's talking to himself.]

[A sigh] The stars that fell that night were so beautiful to see. Yasha... did you see them too? Ashura wishes you'd come here soon. It's dangerous here, and Ashura doesn't know if---

...Ashura just doesn't know what to do. Ashura misses you. [He rests his head against his knees for a couple of moments before looking ahead again, frowning.]

Ashura's gotta do something. Until we can be together again, Ashura needs to--- [He cuts himself off as he, quite accidentally, happens to glance in the direction of the recording device and notices it's recording.]  Eh? Why is it on? [Ashura reaches forward and switches the video off.]

[Voice]

Komatsu? Can Ashura ask you something?

[Voice]

Megumi, Nanoha, don't worry - Ashura's not gone very far from the apartment. But look what Ashura found!

[Switch to video]

[After some motion blur, a small meadow - more like a big patch of grass which hasn't yet been exploited for human settlement - comes into view. The picture bobs around a bit as Ashura walks closer and kneels to zoom in on some of the flowers.]

There're lots of different kinds here - Ashura's never even seen most of these. Megumi, when you come home today, Ashura got you--- wait...

[He switches the communicator around so that it's recording him holding a small bouquet of these.]

---Ashura got some flowers for you. Souma always says there are some herbs that help against exhaustion and help you relax, but Ashura can't find any of the ones she mentioned here. But Ashura thought that maybe you'd like these anyway, since they have almost the same colour as your eyes... and because you're as pretty as them.

Nanoha, Vivio, do you like flowers? Ashura's bringing some home so we can look at them indoors. Is that okay? Nanoha, if you want, Ashura'll help you around the house today! We can do something together, right, like cooking or cleaning? Ashura wants to help you when Megumi's at work!

...There are no roses like the ones Freckles wore in her hair here. But Freckles, can Ashura see you today? And Laura!  Whenever you want to teach Ashura, Ashura will do Ashura's best to learn! You could both come here, maybe. You'd look so pretty with flowers in your hair...

[ooc: Nanoha-mun? Ashura has been living with you for nearly a month, so you have exchanged words before, alright? |D

Any girl who wants this kid going starry-eyed at her prettiness is free to pass by.]

[Voice]

The other day, when people were fighting... did some really die and then came back? Ashura almost thought, that day when the streets were all empty, that it was because---

...But it really doesn't work like that here, does it? [A sigh] It's been almost two weeks already. Yasha...

Oh, but that's right! Ashura wanted to ask something. Are animals brought here just like people? How do they survive? Maybe they can hunt in the forest. Is there any large prey in there? Everyone seems to be getting food from one of those strange marketplaces, so Ashura thought that there might only be smaller animals in the wild here. Anyway, the cat Ashura met should be fine... he didn't look too skinny either. But Ashura still wonders if he has a home here or not.

Vivio? Do you think it'd be fun to go to school?

( [Action for Laura Kinney] )

[Voice]

How d'you make this thing work, again...? Ah! It's shining! Then it's already possible to hear this, right? Okay...

[A deep breath] Whatever gods took Ashura here, since you probably can hear this, too: if you really don't serve Taishakuten, you need to know that Yasha's the strongest warrior of all the gods in Tenkai, so when he comes here you won't be able to just keep him imprisoned like everyone else, so it'd be better if you'd release Ashura and all the people who want to leave now. Was all that tiredness really the work of those deities? If so, you can't continue doing things like that! Yasha won't let you, once he hears about this, and it's cruel to manipulate people's feelings. If there's something you need us here for then just TELL us! Ashura can try to help with whatever it is.

They say it's impossible for you to hear this, but Yasha... hold on, okay? Ashura's coming for you as soon as possible! In the meantime it's safe here - Megumi lets Ashura sleep in her house. It's hard to sleep without you here, but she's a very kind woman. If only Ashura knew in which direction Tenkai lies... if it's even reachable from this place without really strong magic... maybe Ashura could board a ship or something in order to come back, if Ashura could find sailors to trust, that is. At least Ashura's sure how to get to the ocean from here. If it's at all possible to get out of this place, it just seems like it'd be way too far to go by foot - everything looks so different here. It must be someplace very far away. Maybe it really is a mythical land, like that Hourai country, if even children who knew Ashura's father are here.

[ooc: Megumi-mun? I'm still game for that meet-the-household post, whenever you decide post it! I just felt like the kid was due for another post.

All replies assumed voice (or video) since that's about as far as he's come when it comes to figuring this magical box out. Not to mention he probably didn't get all that much education in the noble arts of reading and writing in canon.]

[Accidental voice]

[In a sleepy voice:] Ngh… Yasha…?

[Some rustling can be heard]

Where---? Kujaku? Ryuu-chan! Souma! YASHA!

Where is this? This… isn't the Ice Fortress, is it? It doesn't look anything like--- What's that clicking sound? Stop it, whoever's doing it! If you're trying to cast a spell on Ashura or something with it it's not working, so don't bother. What is this place? Who took Ashura here?! If this is the doing of any of the people sent out to stop us you better not even think about hurting Ashura, or Yasha will kill you when he finds out! He WILL, so don't you dare try anything! [A sharp, shaky inhale] Yasha… Ashura needs to get Yasha…

Hey, where are you? Is there anyone here? If you're not gonna show yourself then just let Ashura go! Right now!

[ooc: Because I fail - all replies assumed voice]
